Video Introduction to Trading Value Areas Day to Day, Introduction Part 1 & Part 2

Here we have a video which will introduce the concept of trading value area levels which form based on the prior day’s action. We will see how they provide setups of key levels of support and resistance, which can be recognized in advance of trading each day. In this video we will consider some examples  (go here to see video)

from recent trading, beginning with the start of the current September contract (correction of the flub on the audio, referencing the June contract, which rolled to September on Jun 11). As we evaluate a few days price action, we will get an idea of how market participants and price action can be evaluated in the context of recognizable behavior in response to these key levels. In following videos, we will build on the introductory understanding we gain here, as we eventually flesh out specific strategies of entry, exit and money management. But first we need to build the foundation. We need confidence from lots of study of these patterns on hundreds of days of past trading. In this video and the following ones, I hope to give you enough understanding of the framework of how to structure this kind of study.
